1999 - 2006 - Starting Out
Jon Elwell was the first dedicated engineer for Cromwell Supply Systems in the UK, working closely with clients to develop, support, and implement inventory management solutions. His focus on best practice and change management helped ensure successful adoption and maximum value from every Vending technology deployment.
2007 - 2009 The Revolution
Between 2007 and 2009, ProVyda became a patented industrial vending platform, alongside the development of the ProPod RFID Portal and Gateway software. The first ProPod was installed at ZF Peterlee, where it remains in service today, demonstrating the durability of the technology.
2013 - Tbox Tech Begins
Founded in July 2013, Tbox Ltd delivers advanced RFID and industrial vending solutions focused on reducing waste, improving control, and achieving inventory excellence through the Patented ProPod, ProVyda, and smart RFID systems.
2018 - 2023 Developing the Platform
Between 2018 and 2023, Tbox Ltd refined its patented ProPod RFID Portal and ProVyda platforms and developed the RFID Kiosk, expanding its RFID technology to support greater accuracy, automation, and control across industrial environments.
2025 The Breakthrough
By 2025, Tbox Ltd reached a major breakthrough, partnering with Zebra Technologies to utilise its enterprise RFID platform. This period saw new approaches to RFID tag encoding and the launch of ProVyda 2.0, making 2025 our strongest year to date in terms of capability, delivery, and commercial performance.
