Tbox Tech wins Small Business of the Year and Engineering and Manufacturng Business of the Year in the Uks Second biggest Business Park.

We were honoured to win both Small Business of the Year and Engineering & Manufacturing Business of the Year at the Aycliffe Business Park Awards, held on the UK’s second largest business park.

To come away with both awards amongst such strong competition was a huge achievement for us, particularly when sharing the stage with large national manufacturers and long-established engineering businesses operating across the park and wider UK manufacturing sector.

Tbox has grown rapidly over the last few years, but at its core we are still a small, highly focused UK technology manufacturer designing and building RFID inventory management systems, industrial vending solutions and automation technology here in the North East.

Everything we develop comes from identifying real-world operational problems within manufacturing and engineering environments and creating practical technology that simplifies processes, improves accountability, reduce waste and minimise disruption on the shop floor.

These awards are also a testament to the impact the solutions are having for manufacturers every year. The savings being achieved through our RFID and vending platforms across stock control, traceability, downtime reduction, labour efficiency and inventory accountability are significant, particularly within high-volume industrial environments where every delay, missing component or manual process carries a cost.

What started years ago as an idea to simplify inventory control has grown into technology now supporting major manufacturers and engineering businesses on a daily basis, with some systems remaining operational on customer sites for well over a decade.

For a business of our size to be recognised alongside some major industrial names genuinely means a lot to us and gives us confidence that British engineering innovation and smaller specialist manufacturers still have an important place within UK industry.
